A Photo Post
By Dave | July 17, 2008
This is one of my favorite pictures. It’s not too often you see the seas this calm. The only other time I remember seeing the ocean like this was last year on the Legend. Both times, the calmness only lasted a couple hours. Had the ship been still, the ripples in the front of the image wouldn’t even be there. I have to say, this image doesn’t do it justice. This is something you have to see in person to believe. It’s almost eerie.
Another great picture. This one is of the Statue of Liberty, taken when we were sailing out of NYC on the 4th of July. We didn’t have very good weather that day, as you can see. And no, we didn’t see any fireworks.
This was also something you had to be there to experience fully. On our way down, during one of the sea days, we caught a full rainbow early in the morning. This picture (as well as a few others) were taken from our balcony. The rainbow was so large we couldn’t capture it in one shot.
In case you didn’t believe it was a full rainbow…
I took this picture on our way back up to NYC. I always like this type of picture. Our ship’s path drawn out in the ocean. Nothing but water all around…
I hope you liked this photo post! I will probably do a couple more of these, as well as a couple more reviews.
